Have an instrument in mind you'd like to have restored, repaired, cleaned, and refinished? You provide the instrument, then we take your instrument and make it how you want it!
And you can rest easy knowing that all restoration services include our Better-Than-Used Guarantee. Lead times for restorations can be as short as 4-weeks, though repairs may extend this timeline. Services are performed on a first-come-first-serve basis, and some instruments may take longer than others, so please inquire for most accurate lead times.
At this time, we cannot refinish silver instruments. Lacquer or raw-brass only. However, we have plans to accommodate this in the near future. We are still able to perform all other repair work for silver instruments.
This service includes:
Milestone updates with photos delivered to your email
Professional instrument cleaning
Full-service instrument repair* (dent removal, scratch removal, bell reshaping)
Complete refinishing in any way of your choosing (see options)
All labor involved in the restoration process
New felts/corks for instrument's proper playing and function
*not all damage will be completely repairable, as there may be signs of previous damage or repair work.
This service does not include and may incur additional charges* for the following:
Shipping
Replacement parts (only if a slide, valve, water key, or other part is damaged beyond repair)
Instrument modification (want to add a 4th valve to your trumpet? Contact us before placing an order)
Optional add-ons (such as valve guard, new instrument case, instrument stand, or anything else you can think of)
*additional goods/services and applicable fees will only be performed and charged with the prior written consent of the client

These finishes can be mixed-and-matched (ie scratched bell and shiny everything else)
Buffed and lacquer (the standard option)
Scratched lacquer (for a more unique yet refined look)
Antique scratched lacquer (for a rustic look)
Raw brass (a distinctly 'brassy' look, but more vulnerable to the elements so not recommended for young students)
Patina (a beautiful green tinted 'brassy' look, results are best without lacquer which is not recommended for young students)
This service is non-refundable once labor begins. However, prior to beginning labor, the client may cancel the service order for a refund (less the sum of 5% of the service charge and any expenses already paid by The Brasswind Network for the service order). The client may request to cancel the restoration service after labor has commenced, though no refund is guaranteed and all work already performed cannot be undone.
