The trombone is finished with a scratched finish, and then coated with lacquer. There was an issue with our lacquer mix, so it has some 'drip spots' on the slide (one near the water key, and one near the bell-slide connector).
Because of the lacquer inconsistency, the trombone is priced lower. However, all issues are purely cosmetic.
The trombone also features a lock soldered in place of a counterweight. This is our way of 'signing our name' on our work without having to modify the engravings on instruments.
This trombone has been fully restored by The Brasswind Network.
The trombone may be returned for up to 30-days from delivery. Returns will result in a partial refund (refunded less 12% restocking fee and shipping fees). Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and is liable for any damage during transit.
The trombone is covered by a 30-day limited warranty, which covers solder failure, lacquer chipping, or other functional failures resulting from manufacturing or restoration errors. Any damage caused by the user is not covered by warranty.
